Hi there!
I’m Gargi, a self taught surface pattern designer and illustrator. Illustrating beautiful and high quality designs is my joy. I absolutely love creating detailed fantasy florals and you will find them plenty in my work. That aside, I also enjoy geometric shapes, symmetry, nature and travel inspired elements in my design. I work with digital or hand painted motifs, sometimes both.

I currently reside and rejoice with my husband and son in Dehradun, India where we work remotely amidst the foothills of Himalayas. I have lived across India over the years but it was in Hong Kong in 2021 that I decided to go creative. I’m an ex-travel and tourism professional and have worked with a leading tour operating company in Mumbai and a destination management company in Hong Kong but having my son made me re-think my options and I decided to set up my own independent creative business. I have always enjoyed drawing and painting as a kid, the process was very dear to me and now my heart fills with joy and gratitude when my art is transformed to something beautiful, meaningful, interesting or simply practical. It’s truly the best feeling.
